I recently had the pleasure of working with Michele from Abbotts Cleanup and Restoration, and I cannot express enough how positive my experience was. Despite significant delays on my end in getting the job approved, Michele's professionalism and dedication made all the difference. Due to the complexity of my situation, I had to secure approvals from my facilities and grounds committee, the financial committee, and the master board. This process resulted in the project being approved over two months after I received the initial estimate. Throughout this time, Michele remained patient, understanding, and incredibly supportive. Today, I coordinated with Michele to gain access to expired work authorization links and discussed how we’d coordinate the 70% deposit to ensure they had the approval and payment to begin the work. Michele's role in moving this project along was crucial. She adeptly handled the coordination, ensuring that we were on the same page after months of silence due to pending approvals. Michele’s efforts were instrumental in maintaining my repair timeline. My estimator, Juan R., was also amazing - responsive, communicative, and helpful. I hope I never need Abbotts services again, but if I do I would 100% call Abbotts again.

Broken water pipe gushed torrents of water from a 5th floor apartment all the way down to the building's basement. I'd give all the folks 10 stars if I could...Rudy, Andres, Alberto, Jesus, & all the others in & out of my apartment whose names I don't remember, as well as coordinator -scheduler Michelle. Everyone has been invariably kind & professional, very understanding & reassuring. They've been here 3 times over 6 days & are always very prompt. I thought my bathroom walls felt dry but they showed me all the walls were still wet. They put up a plastic "door" with a zipper, & several dehumidifiers, hot air blowers, including one under my bedroom carpet, & some machine with flexible hose that drains from bedrm carpet into my bathtub. I don't know how to attach picture of them to my review but I highly recommend Abbott's!!

We had a fire at my work that was set around 3pm. By the time the police and fire had left and said we could start cleaning up, it was close to 430. I connected with the cleaning crew around 5, and they were on location by 6. Jake, Matt, Rodrigo & Missael were professional, knowledgeable, polite, and fast! They got to the after photos below by about 730 when I went back by the business! If I could have given 10 stars, I would have, and if I ever have need of these services again, they will be my first and only call!!!

What an effortless experience! Thanks to Jake's prompt action, Abbotts were quick to arrive and mitigate the leaking dishwasher, preserving the integrity of most of my hardwood floors. Abbotts restoration is fantastic! My neighbor’s burst pipe flooded my place too on Christmas morning. The Abbotts crew jumped into action like it was any day. The handful of guys that descended on my home were extremely friendly, nicely uniformed, and went above and beyond cleaning the mess as they left. Jesus helped explain things at every stage.

A letter that I wrote to Abbotts' management: I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your services and to compliment your company on its employees. While one hopes to never need the services of a restoration company, we are very grateful that you are there when people do need one, and appreciate your coming to our rescue! We had a fire in our chimney on the evening of Jan 2. Early on the morning of Jan 3, Brandon from Abbotts was at our door, telling us he knew what had happened and not to worry. He explained what a restoration company does, and how Abbotts would help us in getting our house back together. And within no time at all, his words were action - Ryan and Juan with his crew were at our house to start what I would learn to be a very specific and detailed process. We were still in "shock mode" after our experience from the evening before, but everyone from Abbotts was there right away to ease our worries and put our minds to rest; to tell us and show us, that everything would be ok. That peace of mind so quickly after the event is much appreciated. The crews from Abbotts have been such a pleasure to work with. There were many workers that came and went, but the commonality with each and every one of them was their professionalism and respect. Everyone was respectful of us, our house and belongings, and of what we were going thru, which was a minor disaster compared to what they have dealt with in the past, I am sure, but they treated us as if this was just as bad to them as it was for us and that we were their top priority. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, courteous and so hard-working; and judging by the laughter I would often hear, seemed to enjoy working with each other. It is an awkward situation to have so many people come into your home, but the Abbotts crews did their very best to make it less so: each saying good morning when they arrived, asking permission to enter rooms, keeping the front door closed to keep the cold out, and so many more acts of courtesy too numerous to mention. I tried to remember everyone's name, but with large and rotating crews, I soon gave up. But I would like to commend several members of your crew whose names I do know. Ryan and Juan are both great communicators, keeping us in the loop of what was happening and what was next. Rodrigo and Misael worked so hard and efficiently at their task to clean up the damage to the walls. They contained the areas and made it so that the rest of the house was unaffected by the damage and their work and could stay as clean and warm as could be. Sylvia and her crew, including Izayana, Sienna, Lidia and Danny came and packed up all of our belongings in the affected rooms and assured us that they would be cleaned and well cared for. Next came Claudia and again, Danny, to clean the areas affected by the smoke. I especially adore these two people...they were so respectful, hard-working and personable. Danny is a great PR person, visiting with me, explaining the process of things, and even went as far as playing my (very out of tune) piano, which was so endearing. Claudia was like a kindred spirit to me, giving encouraging hugs when she came and left. Lastly, the 2 employees from Prism - Jill and Cody - were also wonderful to work with. I hope that you will share with your staff what a wonderful experience it has been for us to work with them. Too often staff members only hear complaints and negative feedback. My wish is that your staff will know that our unfortunate event was made so much better by them - their great care, hard work and professionalism on the job, and that they are ALL much appreciated and deserving of great praise, whether I remember their name or not!!

Abbotts removed all of the water damage from a blown connection under my kitchen sink. They had to open up the basement ceiling and rip out carpet and laminate flooring so that they could bring in fans and dehumidifiers. Before they removed the machines, they checked the dryness of all the involved areas so that I would not have mold problems in the future. The men were all very professional, knowledgeable, and polite.They did a wonderful job.

I used them when I had a water leak, needed clean up and drying out. Abbotts also help coordinate the drywallers and the painters to get the job finished. Loc Martin, the local rep, was ready and available to make sure the job got done right.

Abbotts was great! It’s hard to find a contractors who do a great such a great job and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. We had black water damage from a leaking drain pipe in our ceiling. They sanitized and cleaned the area as well as fixed the drywall and replaced our carpet. All work was completed with a high degree of quality and very quickly too! They even matched the drywall texture perfectly. Thanks Abbotts!

JEN PICARD - Abbotts Cleanup & Restoration - I would highly recommend Jen Picard at Abbotts. She was on top of her job at all points in the restoration process. Even though I would recommend Abbotts also I do not know what I would have done without her. There were some hiccups in the coordination of my job and Jen is probably the finest customer service person I have ever encountered. She was accessible at all times and keep me informed as to what to expect next. She made sure all departments were going to perform smoothly from the beginning of my restoration to the end. I have found out that Abbotts provides full service from start to finish and works with my insurance company's claim to get things done quickly. Abbotts really helped to work with the insurance adjuster throughout the process of the water loss and provide quality work. they took a lot of tressed out of me. Also, I was impressed with Loc Martin she is very helpful and she helps me when I need it. I highly recommend Abbotts to my friends and family members when they're in need of help.

Before Michelle took charge of restoring my house, there was no scheduling of the workforce at all. There were days when I came home after work and workers were in my house, unannounced. I did not know what they were doing and could communicate with them only very minimally, due to the language barrier. I had to ask to have some work redone twice, because the workmanship was very bad. It was so bad that I had to contact Abbots and the project manager agreed not to have that crew come back. That’s when Michelle took over and everything changed for the better. Bilingual, she communicated my concerns and had Herminio Villa, and his crew take over the rebuilt of my house. From there on, I knew when and what was being worked at my house; I knew how long it would take to complete tasks, and if Herminio didn’t do the work himself, he or Michelle came by to make sure EVERTHING was done to perfection and the guys cleaned up. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable about all tasks performed in my house. There wasn’t a question she didn’t know how to answer, making working with her a pleasure. She aims to make the customer happy, and she does very much so. From the time she took over until now, she called me at least twice a week to let me know what’s going on next and asked me if I had any concerns about anything. Michelle scheduled the work around me and I could decide whether I wanted to be there for it. For me as a customer, communication is an absolute “must” to build a trustful relationship, and Michelle surpassed that goal by far. Michelle is as professional as she is knowledgeable and the ordeal at the beginning turned into a winning battle. I am very very happy with how everything turned out. I have never gotten this level of customer service and commitment, simply phenomenal. As I told my neighbors, friends and coworkers; I would do business with Abbots any time again, knowing the level of customer satisfaction Michelle provided. Thank you so much Michelle and Herminio.

When disaster strikes it disorients you. I called Abbotts for help, their representative Timothy said "It would be a process" and it was. The project manager Kyle they assigned to me treated me like family and walked me through a very difficult process, he keep his word and all appointments in a timely manner, never impatient with me when I was in full drama mode. Another project manager Ron assigned to me to finish up also help with completion and final details. From the office staff, demolition crew, reconstruction crew and the great project managers, I give Abbotts a top of the line 5 star rating. Thank you

I had 2 polite, knowledgeable, professional staff cleaning up my basement only 2 hours after I called. We found the water leak, they set up the drying stage, and explained to me each step of what needed to be done next and the expected time line. Michelle provided perhaps the best customer service I've experienced with any company. She quickly got a crew to my house and responded immediately all of my questions throughout the process. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt taken care of during a very stressful time.

Jacob and Jake were extremely easy to work with for our water mitigation and restoration work. The team was there when they said they would be, stood by their work (including redoing a portion of the work), and followed up to make things right. Each of the technicians was wonderfully professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They set up dehumidifiers which cleared the standing water and moisture from my basement and crawl space. Still have not received an invoice for the services 3 weeks after completion??

WOW, WOW, WOW. I do not write a lot of reviews, but when I experience incredible service from a company and/or particular employees from a company, I try to take a little time to write about my positive experience. This SHOUT OUT goes to 3 employees who are: very hard working, considerate, knowledgeable, and kind, while they are packing and moving our personal items and furniture in the basement. The 3 employees are: Claudia, Ulises, and Jorge!! These 3 individuals worked so well together and were so considerate of our stressful situation. Claudia was determined to ensure we felt comfortable and at ease with the process. She answered all of my questions, and no matter what or when I asked, she never showed any frustration or annoyance. She stayed on-task, wrapping and labeling the furniture, while talking with me/answering my questions. Ulises and Jorge never stopped carrying the boxes and furniture from the basement to the POD outside. They all stayed very busy throughout the day, so therefore, the process moved along very quickly! As a side note, Claudia even allowed me to practice my Spanish, while we were talking throughout the day. Because of this, we were able to laugh several times, whether it was a translation mix-up, or a funny story that one of us told. To say Claudia, and the other two, calmed any stress or doubts I had, is an understatement. I have already requested the team of 3, Claudia, Ulises, and Jorge, when it is time to move everything back inside to our newly carpeted basement. The amount of confidence I have in this team of 3 is huge. Thank you, Abbott's, for sending such an amazing trio! It is a huge relief, knowing I can trust the people inside our home, while handling our personal items, especially our family heirlooms. Abbots are the best! The team’s that came to my home were very professional and great communicating the process. They quickly responded to my flooding, drying out, protecting non-affected areas and re-checks until mitigation was complete. I had 2 subsequent situations so had the pleasure of working with 2 team leaders Caleb and Jesus, also Jason, Keith & Jose. I still haven't gotten a quote, so I guess it's free! ;) ha

I would like to recommend Abbotts Cleanup & Restoration for any unfortunate cleanup issues. We had a concern in our basement when the laundry room drain backed up. The mitigation team was here quickly and listened to my concerns through the process of cleaning up after a pipe froze and burst, flooding the basement and soaking the carpets and lower walls and our belongings. I appreciated their quick response, professionalism and care with my items during the cleanup work. Scott A. managed my repair process and was an absolute dream to work with. His communication was excellent. He worked closely with me to make sure we were on the schedule quickly, that I knew my options in my repair work, what and when to expect the phases of work, and made sure I approved when the crew would be accessing the property. He checked in with me frequently to make sure everything was going as expected. Thanks to Scott's thorough knowledge of how these types of projects are typically handled by insurance, I was even able to get assistance with pack-out and in of my belongings and an alternative living situation while the project was underway. The project was completed very promptly and without a hitch. I am incredibly happy with the results of the work in my basement. Everything was completed beautifully to the minor detail, and Scott went above and beyond to make sure that absolutely all aspects were perfect. He even went out of his way to fix my pantry doors as a final touch. I really could tell that Scott had my best interests in mind, and I felt comfortable and relieved to have someone I trusted managing this huge project for me.

Abbotts was great! We got a quick estimate and mobilization to my parents’ home. My Dad had a bad infection requiring an extensive cleaning of their condo. AMAZING! Not only are they thorough, but they actually took time to really explain to me what exactly they were doing. These guys deserve a huge raise! Charles and Jason came out around 8pm when my fridge filter flooded the kitchen and basement. Abbotts helped me navigate a tricky situation involving post-fire insulation mitigation, city inspections under previous home owners, etc. They didn't have to return my calls, as they didn't have a contract with me, rather the prior homeowners and their insurance. To my surprise, they were extremely responsive, respectful and helpful in coming back out to re-do some insulation and get it re-inspected by the city. I truly appreciate their attention to customer service!

Amazing team. So friendly, professional and responsive. Cleaned up the water in 2 hrs and then setup drying equipment. I would recommend this company to anyone. Charles was my favorite to work with. We could not have been more pleased with Abbotts and are so glad we chose them over the other companies that provided an estimate of services. Timothy was in charge of the crew that did remediation from a flooded basement due to a broken pipe. They worked through a difficult insurance adjuster and kept us informed every step along the way. They made sure everything was dry or, in the case of flooring, drywell and insulation, replaced. Chris managed the crew that did the reconstruction. Every single person was, without question, professional, thorough, pleasant and did excellent work. They helped us every step of the way and when a cancer diagnosis occurred in the middle of the project, they went out of their way to accommodate our schedule and our needs. We also thought that everyone of the subcontractors did equally excellent work and were very pleasant to work with also. My husband and I could not recommend Abbotts more strongly.

Abbotts returned our call quickly and had workers out the same evening. At all times they were hard-working, respectful of our property, timely, and communicative. Art always answered our questions thoroughly and communicated with us clearly at each step. He and Ricardo make an excellent team! They brought in other workers for the demolition that did a great job as well.

Once I signed a contract, I was assigned a project manager who was on site and able to direct the crew. Now we are ready for the Drywaller tomorrow! After Drywaller is finished they will remove the water damaged flooring and install new wood flooring.
